Crisis services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for any person experiencing a mental health emergency. Crisis Services provides crisis intervention, assessment, and referral for voluntary and involuntary psychiatric hospitalization.

Crisis services can be accessed through any of the mental health clinics in all 3 counties (Liberty, Montgomery, and Walker).

If an individual is experiencing a mental health crisis during the hours of 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM (Monday through Friday), they may go directly to any of the three clinics located in Cleveland, Liberty, or Huntsville to receive crisis services. Otherwise, the Psychiatric Emergency Treatment Center (PETC) is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and can be reached by calling 1-800-659-6994.
